DAY 1:  THE TRIP TO GERMANY

Monday 9 September

Oh today is the trip!! We have waited so long. Today it is time, we are so happy. We miss all the Germans. Were are so excited and I think they were too.  We counted every day before the trip to Germany.

Before we went to the airport we were at school. We had a regular school day.  We went from school at 10.15 am, we took the train to Älvsjö and changed trains to Uppsala. We came to Arlanda airport at 12 am. We left our bags and went to gate 2.

We had to wait for the flight; we waited about 1 and a half hour. Everybody bought something to eat or drink, and then we went to the flight. The flight started at 2 pm, we were in Germany at 4 pm.

We took three different trains, the first one took 10 minutes, the second one took 2hours, the third one took 1 hour, and then we were in Bielefeld.

All the German families waited for us, so when we came they were there, and we went to our host families.

We all were nervous when we were in the flight, everybody was happy. In the train it was boring because it was a long time and we just sat and waited.  When we were in the third train everybody were very nervous one station before Bielefeld everybody was happy and then wen we were in Bielefeld. We met the families and we said hello and then we went to there’s home.
